Dr. Jamie Childress, a Fauquier County native, graduated Liberty High School in 1997 and went on to the University of Virginia. There she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating with honor and distinction. Dr. Childress attended MCV School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia, and graduated magna cum laude in 2005, earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. While in dental school, Dr. Childress was recognized for her excellence in clinical skills and asked to serve on the teaching faculty. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the prestigious Dental Honor Society. Dr. Childress maintains memberships in the ADA, VDA, NVDS, and OKU.

Chase Garris, DDS | Associate Dentist

Meet Dr. Chase Garris šŸ‘šŸ». Chase was born and raised in Fauquier County. He is the younger brother of Dr. Jamie Childress and the husband of Dr. Sarah Garris. Dr. Chase attended Virginia Tech with his wife, and the two attended dental school together at VCU School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. After graduation, the two moved to Sitka, Alaska, and completed an AEGD residency program.

They moved back home, with Dr. Chase in Winchester and Dr. Sarah here in Warrenton. For six years, Dr. Chase has been practicing in Winchester and has become an outstanding dentist with a phenomenal reputation.

Together, they have four beautiful children and have filled their home with love, laughter, and very little sleep šŸ˜†. We are crazy excited for you to meet this hardworking, big-hearted, uber-smart, and funny guy that we already love! He will be in our office on Wednesdays!

Dr. Sarah Garris grew up in Gainesville, Virginia. She attended Virginia Tech and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Go Hokies! Dr. Garris graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2017. After dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Mount Edgecumbe Hospital in Sitka, Alaska. She has been working at Warrenton Dentistry ever since!

Michelle Brown, Registered Dental Hygienist

Michelle graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 1999. She was so outstanding in the hygiene class that she received the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award! She is certified to administer Nitrous Oxide with sedation and is certified to administer local anesthesia. Michelle has been a hygienist with Warrenton Dentistry since 1999! Prior to that, she was a dental assistant for Dr. Murray for many years, she is our most long-standing employee! She takes dental hygiene very seriously. This career path has allowed her to put her passion into practice. Michelle is an outstanding educator and has a fantastic way of building personal relationships with her patients. Michelle and her husband Bubba are both native Fauquier County residents. They have two daughters, Brooke and Rachel. Michelle is a dog lover and adopts rescue dogs, her favorite are old wieners (dachshunds)! You can always expect to hear Michelle giggling in her room with her patients and telling them, ā€œSee you in 6 months or 6,000 smilesā€.

Sarah graduated from Old Dominion University with a bachelorā€™s degree in Dental Hygiene in 2009. She is certified to provide Nitrous Oxide sedation and certified to administer local anesthesia. She has over 13 years of experience in dentistry and has been with Warrenton Dentistry since 2011. Sarah loves her patients; they are why she does what she does, and her caring attitude shows in all that she does! She enjoys educating patients on their oral health and its importance for overall health. Sarah and her husband, Clarence, live on the family farm with their 2 boys. She enjoys family trips to the beach, reading and family walks on the farm with their dog, Tucker.

Caitlin graduated from James Madison University in 2011. She then pursued a career in the dental field and earned her Associates in Dental Hygiene from Northern Virginia Community College in 2017. She is certified to provide nitrous oxide sedation and certified to administer local anesthesia. Caitlin has been with Warrenton Dentistry since 2022. With a passion for education and the drive to help others, Caitlin loves to build meaningful connections with her patients based on trust, compassion, and quality care. In her spare time, Caitlin and her husband Daniel relish the day-to-day adventures of raising their two young children, Arthur and Molly, alongside their loyal companion, a rescue dog named Rosco. She loves to spend time in nature and enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and rock hounding. Whenever she gets the chance, Caitlin spends her creative, artistic energy by making crafts, DIY projects, and painting.

Cesar graduated from Fauquier High School in 2011. He has over 9 years of experience as a dental assistant and has been with us since 2021. He loves all aspects of dentistry; he even teaches dental assisting at the DATS school when heā€™s not here assisting at Warrenton Dentistry. Cesar loves traveling, getting to know new people, and visiting new places. He enjoys long walks, the outdoors, festivals, and electronic music. He most recently was introduced to country music- which he loves. Cesar also has a love for animals. Cesar is bi-lingual and is always willing to help our Spanish-speaking patients!

Caleb is the eldest child of Dr. Jamie Childress. He has been working with our team as a dental assistant and sterilization tech since he was 14 years old. Caleb will begin his pre-dental studies at Virginia Tech in the Fall of 2022. He plans to complete dental school and return home to join us at Warrenton Dentistry.

Grace graduated from Fauquier High School and completed the ADATS program in 2024. Shortly after graduating, she began working in dentistry and has loved every moment of it. Outside of work, Grace loves spending time with her friends and family. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places, whether it’s visiting antique shops, trying new coffee shops, or enjoying time outdoors.

Angie graduated from Rappahannock County High School in 1995. She has over 20 years of experience in the dental field and has been with Warrenton Dentistry since 2007. Patient relationships are, by far, Angieā€™s favorite part of dentistry. She has such a sincere heart for people. Our patients truly become friends and family with her. Angie takes pride in pursuing the insurance companies to get the best insurance benefits possible for our patients. She spends countless hours on the phone, fighting for you to get what you deserve! It takes far more than one denial for her to give up! Angie grew up in Rappahannock County and now lives in Luray. She has been married to her husband, Greg since 2000, they have a daughter, Abigail, and two dogs, Buddy & Bitty. Angie loves to read, go to the beach, and visit Lancaster, PA. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and her church family!

Born on December 4, 2015, Charlee began ā€œworkingā€ in our office when she was 8 weeks old! Our staff and patients immediately fell in love with her and her sweet temperament! Charlee went away for formal training with OffLeash K9 training when she was 5 months old. She was trained officially as a therapy/emotional support animal. Charlee absolutely loves her job and takes her responsibilities to heart! She loves to greet patients as they come in the office and to sit in their laps while they are receiving dental care. In her free time, Charlee enjoys belly rubs, long naps and treats! Peanut butter is her most favorite thing in the whole wide world!

Ginger is Warrenton Dentistryā€™s second therapy pup! She joined our practice in December of 2023 and was born in September of 2023. Ginger is a cousin of Miss Charlee and a fellow Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She completed her formal training with K9ology in Sperryville Virginia and is here to meet all of your comfort needs! Her favorite activities are chewing on all things and annoying her big sister Charlee!

Becca joined us in the latter part of 2024 and what a treasure she is! You will find Becca right by Dr. Garrisā€™ side as her primary dental assistant.
Becca was born and raised in Warrenton, VA and has been dental assisting for 12 years. What she loves most about dentistry is being directly involved with the patients and calming any sort of dental anxiety before the doctor even walks in the room! We can testify that Becca is compassionate and full of grace. She is an asset to our team and our patients

She has been in the dental field since 1998 šŸ¤— but took time off to raise her five amazing children. Robin returned to dentistry in 2019 and hasnā€™t skipped a beat since her first day with us!

Robin has lived in Fauquier since 2011 and she and Dr. Childress have been friends since that time. The pieces of this puzzle šŸ§© fell into place beautifully!

We are thrilled to have added Sherri as our newest dental hygienist. Her first week with us was nothing short of incredible!

Sherri has worked locally in dentistry since 2012, beginning as a dental assistant and later pursuing dental hygiene school.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Western Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in dental hygiene, while also serving as class president.

In addition, Sherri is certified to provide nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. She prides herself on furthering her patient’s knowledge about dental health and proper at-home care techniques. What she enjoys most about being a dental hygienist are the relationships built with her patients and a career that benefits others by helping them have healthy smiles.

In her time away from work Sherri enjoys every moment being a loving wife and mother to four beautiful children. She enjoys her time at home on the farm with her 3 Bassett hounds and many other animals.

Heather lives in Boyce, VA and is a proud mom to two daughters and one son, as well as a delighted grandmother to one grandson. She grew up in Fauquier and brings over 20 years of experience in the dental field, where her passion for patient care and teamwork truly shines.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Trey, and their family. Together, Heather and Trey are also the proud owners of Texas Trey Tortilla Chips, combining their entrepreneurial spirit with a love for creating something of their own.

Taylor graduated in 2021 from Battlefield High School. She grew up in Haymarket and now lives in Fauquier County with her boyfriend, Michael. Taylor has been with Warrenton Dentistry since 2024 and is the first face you will see as you walk through the door. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, fishing and photography. Taylor loves to visit Outer Banks, NC and Gatlinburg, TN with her friends and family.
